Jennifer Fuentes, Controller
Jennifer began her career in construction accounting more than 10 years ago. Since that time she has furthered her education in accounting at Santa Ana College while dabbling in Criminal Justice. Jennifer came to Interstate Asphalt in April 2008 and has since taken on the role of Accounting Manager and Office Manager. When she is not in the office she can be found in Balboa or at a hockey game. GO DUCKS!!!Fernando Hernandez, Superintendent
Fernando has been in the paving industry since 1984. He began his career with TBS Contracting as a laborer. In only one year he had been promoted to Foreman of the paving and sealing crew. He worked hard and in 1990 he had an opportunity to run the crew and become a roller operator for Oliver Mahon. Jim had heard what a hard worker Fernando was and in 1997 he hired Fernando as a Class A driver and roller operator. He quickly moved to the role of Foreman and is currently our Superintendent and a crucial part in the success of IAC.
Jim Knoth, President
Jim has over 25 years of paving experience ranging from being in the field to becoming president of IAC. Jim's basis for the company stems from the basic principals of quality, integrity, paying attention to detail, and customer satisfaction. He prides the company on staying true to the standard and does not stand for anything less. In the past 17 years with Interstate he has become involved in the Asphalt Paving Association andUS Green Builders. Through his involvement and constant education has become an expert in the asphalt industry.
